We offers many ways to volunteer from mentoring campers to creating joyful moments behind the scenes. Whether you love worship, running games, cooking, or being a listening ear, there’s a place for you here. Every role leads to creating a safe, environment where campers can grow, connect, and experience God’s love.
Seasonal Retreats - Volunteer during fall, winter, and spring weekend retreats that bring campers back for short, meaningful getaways.
Camp Prep & Clean-Up Days/Weekends - Assist with seasonal projects like room setup, cabin refreshes, yard work, organizing supplies, or winterizing spaces.
Special Events & Outreach - Support family events, worship nights, holiday programs, and community outreach moments throughout the year.
These roles let volunteers stay part of the Camp Comanche family, invest in ongoing discipleship, and strengthen community relationships.
No matter your personality, experience, or gifts, we’ll help you find a role that feels meaningful and fun. Some volunteers love mentoring, others love behind-the-scenes service, and many discover new gifts along the way.
Roles can absolutely be combined, and at Camp Comanche, they often are!
You might be a Cabin Counselor who also helps with crafts, or a Lifeguard who supports evening events. Even our senior leadership and board members jump into multiple roles throughout camp, because serving together is what makes this community special.
If you’re open, flexible, and excited to be part of what God is doing, we’ll help you find a role (or a combo!) that fits your strengths and lets you join in on all the fun.
